As teachers we should know when and where to use technology in the classroom. To keep up with the 21st Century learner it is essential that technology is included in their learning if we want to engage the learner.

Constantly enquire and talk to other co workers and educators to learn what is the latest technology available for teaching. Attend workshops and online courses. Visit The Learning; One Channel website and attend their online courses. Learn from students who have more experience in this field. Research the internet for new software and tools available for classroom teaching. Attend In service conducted by the school and Education Qld.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. I agree technology is changing so rapidly and I am sure we will learn a lot from the students. Now that we have been introduced to it we will have to constantly update our skills.
ReplyDeleteI would suggest you join a professional association to help keep up with changes. QSITE is a state and local technology association and conducts regular professional development in Rockhampton.
